It’s just under a week before I head off on my epic trip and to be honest, I should be saving rather than spending but over a week and a bit, there has been a few items where I couldn’t resist. A few of these items I’ve been waiting for a long time to come out and it’s just bad timing it came out this week and the other few was discounted to the lowest price ever where I have not seen to date. My mind was telling me, “if you don’t get it now, you will never get it at this price again”. So in the end, I got it. lol

Here’s the breakdown.

Received Mikuru School Festival Ver. last friday. I picked her up from the Play-asia 15% off sale. She was already discontinued and with a further 15% off from the already discontinued price, it was hard to resist. Even though the Aussie dollar was low, it still came out at a very good price so I feel satisfied with the purchase. With her in my possession, she officially completes my Max Factory Haruhi set which I’m very proud off. When I get back, I can do a whole set shoot. It’s gonna be awesome. ^^
As for my figma Tsuruya-san, I received her a few days ago. Check my previous “What’s in the box” post for more info. She part of the loot as she arrived this week. ^^

Okay, a few weeks back, I mentioned Madman was having a 30% off sale on all boxsets. Well, I was able to resist temptation but for 50% off, you have me sold. Yep, once again, JB-Hifi in the city was having another anime dvd sale which mostly contains available boxsets. While I already had a few which was on sale like for eg. Stellvia of the Universe, they had the last set of Chrono Crusade and Ghost in the Shell S1 available. I’ve been putting it off for a long time in getting both of these series as I was waiting for the lowest price possible and when I saw the 50% off price tag, I just had to get it. So the final price for Chrono Crusade was $50AUD and Ghost in the Shell was $65AUD which is the lowest price I have seen to date.

I haven’t watched Ghost in the Shell to be honest and I told myself, if I ever watch it, it has to be on DVD in english dub. I read many reviews and the series does not disappoint. Am I the only one who hasn’t watched it yet?

As a Star War’s fanboy, I consider myself a failure if I don’t own the entire Trilogy. While the original trilogy has been out for a long time and god knows how many revisions it has gone through, I wasn’t gonna grab it until the Prequel Trilogy came out. I’ve been waiting patiently for a long time now and recently, I almost given in, into getting ep. 1,2 & 3 separately. But my patience has paid off because last Thursday, while flipping through a K-mart catelogue, I couldn’t believe my eyes when they were advertising the Prequel Trilogy and the original Trilogy. At long last, they were releasing both Trilogy’s together in a new pack and I could not be more happier. ^^
I had time on Tuesday, so I grabbed it immediately. Both set was $40AUD each so IMO, a bargain. ^^

Well, no surprise here. It is a new month after all so that means a new megami edition. ^^
I will be posting up my review before I leave so look out for it. ^^

Last but not least, I scored myself a new 1TB external harddrive. As I’m almost out of space, it was about time I searched around for a new one. When I saw this for $175AUD at the Good Guys, I thought it was too good to be true but it was true.
I instantly grabbed it without second thoughts and I could not be more happier. Now I can download more anime without worrying if I have enough space or not. ^^

Well, after doing the math, this week loot cost more than $500AUD. It’s the most I’ve spent in a week on misc. items for a very long time now and it kinda fell at the wrong timing as I’m heading off soon. Still, no regrets. ^^
