As my figma family continues to grow, I needed a more feasible way to store all of my figma pieces. While I appreciate the bags included with each figma, I find there could be a more better way in keeping all of my pieces together. The bags are neat and handy in keeping the figma and it’s pieces together but when it comes to changing their faces and hands, it can get annoying opening up the bags, tipping the pieces out, putting back the pieces in, sealing the bags etc. and doing it for over 15+ figmas and repeating the same process over and over again eveytime I want a change.
Even though I store all of my figma bags in a shoe box, another problem I found was digging through the bags inside the box to find the right pieces for each figma. Most of the time, they are at the bottom even though I keep my favourites pieces at the top. I have a lot of favourites by the way. xD
So here’s my soloution. I remember reading a post on Dannychoo where someone stores there pieces in separate containers. Maybe it was him but I can’t confirm. I shopped around for something similar and this was the answer. It’s actually a beads container but as you can see, it can be a figma container as well.
Now all of my pieces are easily accessible and are in one place. Not only its neat, there’s no more fiddling with bags and searching in the shoe box.
I should put a “No shaking” sticker on the front because shaking is a “BIG NO!!!”
How do you store your figma pieces?

that’s a good idea you got there. I just recently decided I needed to find a spot for my figma parts, they’re all in bags rolled up when possible stored in a box on the top shelf of my computer desk. before that it was always the box they came in and that got too hectic opening the box and dragging it all out and putting it back everytime

I currently don’t have any Figmas, but I did order some ^_^ Will probably do something similar once they arrive. I’d get a smaller one though since I only ordered 4.

i knew there was a simple solution to this problem i wasn’t thinking of ^^;;
…though i will have to look for a container with some larger bins too — ideally i want a centralized storage area for all my figure parts, like the massive graf eisen attachment… also nendoroid parts and accessories… rize’s skirt … well, mebbe that will have to be a specialized case ^^;

Lol~ I was going to suggest something like that before I clicked the jump, but then you already had the solution xD
I only have a Haruhi Nendo so I keep the pieces in the original box :3;

I haven’t opened my figmas….except the konata figma I have…
So the storage for me is in their original box…
Maybe I’ll open them soon…maybe…
I’m afraid to break or lose the pieces when I take it out of the box…

Hmm.. That box looks nice and neat. It’s pretty hard to keep figma part when you got a lot of figma.
I have a plastic box just like your shoe box, and i put all my figure parts there, including figma parts, nendo parts, etc.

@Acesan
Thanks.
A second gundam box might do the trick if this idea doesn’t work out for ya. ^^
@Persocom
Well, I tend to keep my bags flat because I’m afraid when I unroll them, they will be in pieces.
@picchar
Welcome picchar. Welcome to our zone. ^^
Well, I suggest to plan for the future and getting a bigger one encase u acquired some more. It’s hard to say no to more when u have 4. ;)
@meronpan
Sometimes the simplest solutions are right in front ur face lol
I’m considering getting another one for my other figure accessories. The sides can be detachable as well.
@Koshiko
LOL.
The opening picture is kinda deceiving.
@Seo
Welcome Seo. Hope u enjoy ur stay.
I’m not sure. Are u talking about Saber sword?
@Rin
I think that defeats the purpose in having them cause ur suppose to play with them. I understand anxiety in break or losing a piece but these things can happen with movable parts.
@sonic
It was effective at first but the annoying part was unzipping and rezipping the bags.
I needed a neat storage to keep them all in one place.

Wuhuhuh that’s a very neat idea as you are collecting (a lot of/all of the) figmas! Easy to store, easy to retrieve, and easy to pack as well! Truly the way of the figma expert~

Again, that defeats the purpose in having them. They need love u can’t give them that behind the box. lol
@Q.
Thanks. No matter how many times ppl say I’m the figma expert, I find it hard to accept I am because I’m not the only one who owns figmas and they may have a similar but yet better idea idea. But thanks. xD
Owning all figmas u say. Only the future will tell. lol
