Flicking through last month edition, I found out next month edition will be a featured K-ON! edition. Given the fact K-ON! is one of the most popular series this season, I was pretty excited what Gakken will deliver even though baring in mind, I was prepared to be disappointed. After a in dept flick through and a good look over on some of the extra goodies, I was convinced this edition is the “BEST EDITION EVER” in a very long time.

This review is slightly longer than most others given the fact there are more photos to cover all the good bits. ^^

As already mentioned, this month is a K-ON! featured edition. K-ON! is one of them most popular series this season featuring girls with instruments blah blah blah…. you all know the rest. In addition in having a special article about the series, it also includes articles on other series like Hayate no Gotoku Season 2, Queen Blade, Clannad ~After Story~, Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha: The 1st Movie, Saki, Valkyria Chronicles and many more from this and past season.

This month standout extra goodies include, a pencil board featuring Nanoha on 1 side and Fate on the other. The illustration is based on the Nanoha 1st Movie and I tell ya, Fate looks so moe, it’s enough to make you scream for it. xD
The other goodie is a eight page Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha Visual collection  1.5 booklet. After doing a bit of research myself, the booklet is a special selection of illustrations based on the original Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha Visual Collection. I’m guessing what Gakken did to promote the Nanoha movie was just to take a few of the illustrations from the original Visual Collection and combined it with some of their past illustrations from previous Megami editions and made it a little special booklet for it’s fans. That’s likely where the 1.5 comes in. ^^
Considering I don’t own the original Visual Collection (I’m surprised it’s still available LOL), this little booklet just made it a more worthwhile goodie to keep.

Enough of my chit-chat and see why some of these posters and goodies deliver to be the BEST EDITION in a very long time.

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha Visual collection  1.5 booklet

Why 2 pictures? Well,  ever since I saw this scan 2-3 years back, I’ve been wanting a bigger resolution but could never find it. As it’s one of my favourite illustrations of all time, getting a hard copy of it just made me love it even more. I’m so happy, I could cry. :3

I’ve said it once and I will say it again, it’s the “BEST EDITION EVER” in a very long time. Not only did they jam packed it with some worthy collectible goodies but the variety of posters are just great featuring this current season and old favourites from past series to keep many readers happy. Many standout posters includes K-ON!, Mahou Shoujo Nanoha, Toradora!, Strike Witches, Gurren Lagann, Higurashi, Tayutama -Kiss on my Deity-, Kannagi and a few more where I forgot which series they are from.

If your thinking about getting this month edition, I have 3 words for you, “GET IT NOW!!!!!!!!” either at HLJ, Hobby Search, or at your favourite online shop or at your local bookstore. Edition like these comes once in a blue moon so don’t miss your chance.
