Rightstuf Funimation Sale Loot

Yesterday, my DVD’s from the Funimation Sale have arrived.
Hit the jump to see what DVD’s I got.
Not many boxsets this time round compared to the usual 4 or 5 I order in one go. As I start getting picky on figures, I’m also starting to get picky on series to own as well. Feel free to click on the link on each title for more info and price.
I’ve decided to own all the Key series. As a Key fan, it’s only natural for me to own them all as I love their works (story and animation wise). Now all I’m waiting is for Clannad Season 1 and 2 to be out on boxsets so I can own them all. If you ask me which series I like better, I would have to say Kanon because I’ve enjoy each arc more compared to Air and Clannad. In addition, I find there are more likable characters like Nayuki, Shiori, Makoto and Ayu.
Moonlight Mile was kind of a last minute item to put in. Despite having not watched the series, I’ve decided to grab it anyway as I’m fond in sci-fiction series particular space genre themes.

Nice loot though, but isn’t ordering from Rightstuf a bitch when you’re in Australia? I know I had all sorts of shit I had to go through to order shit from them.

Favorite series by Key? Definitely Clannad. I loved the other series as well, though. If I were to use 10 point scale, AIR would get 9, Kanon 10, and Clannad would get 11 points ^^

Never heard of Moonlight Mile too. Is it worth watching?

I’ve got Clannad but I’ve not had the chance to watch it yet. Not quite sure what else is a Key series.

I’ve finished all of Clannad, almost finished with Kanon and never started Air yet… I do like the series, but I’m hoping they’ll make an anime out of Little Busters. The characters look very interesting and lively.

Clannad was good but S1 was boring overall. The first arc was so boring, it almost made me drop the series.

I was expecting a preview of Little Busters after the final ending of Clannad. Oh well, I hope “Angel Beats!” will be just as good.

The only Key series I have watched so far is only Clannad (+ AS), but I heard that the previous series are even sadder/more depressing. Is that true?
And wow, never heard of this Moonlight Mile before. The last thing I’ve watched closest to space and astronauts was Planetes. Gotta look that up now. Speaking of which I need to start catching up with some anime as my hectic month’s over.

I beg to differ. I find After Story more dramatic. I don’t know if u know, I HATED Fuko arc. I felt nothing at the end because it was the most boring arc ever.
Planetes was great. It’s was one of those epic space series where I would watch it again.
