Rockin’ with Haruhi Suzumiya

Last week, I brought you a little sexiness from Haruhi so this week, let’s all put our gears on and rock on with her.
Based on the illustration to promote her live event “The Extavaganza of Haruhi Suzumiya”, the Extravaganza Ver. is one of those gem figures which is a must have for all figure lovers and Haruhi lovers out there. With Max Factory focusing more on their figma lineup, it’s not frequent to come by with scale figures being announced by one of the best figure makers out there. While personally I’m not really bothered by the announcements of figmas compared to scale figures at a ratio of 2:1 or 4:1, I was starting to get worried, they may have lost their touch in being one of the best figure makers in the world.
When I finally got my hands on the her last month, all those thoughts disappeared. I’m very happy Max Factory is still one of the best figure makers in the world and the Extravaganza Ver. proves it. The quality, the scuplt, the details of her guitar, the paint and the overall design is just amazing. While I don’t recall all the details of that costume she was wearing in that illustration, she looks as close to perfection in my books and even if I do find a slight difference, it doesn’t really matter overall because what I have in front of me is a little masterpiece where you don’t find too often in many figures.
As some of you may already know, I canceled her a few weeks back before her initial release date. When I laid eyes on the actual product, I realised I’ve made a terrible mistake. The feeling of regret was starting to kick in and as I browsr through other people shoot, that regret got deeper and deeper where to a point I couldn’t control it anymore and the only cure was to ensure I secure an order for her. >_<
So thanks guys. ^^d (You know who you are :P)
Overall, I’m still very glad I got her because if I try searching for her now, she will be hard to find as she’s currently sold out from the many popular online stores.

She is indeed a masterpiece and really amazing no matter how times you look at her. You got the whole gang now right?
That aside, I hope Max Factory does the K-ON girls too because I think they are best suited for the job in my opinion. Sorry I diverted. ^^”

Yeah, Max Factory really brings the best figures out of all manufacturer, too bad they rarely release scaled figures lately.
Anyway, nice photos as always, the lightning is perfect. Except it needs more shot with different angles. Try a higher or lower angle, or even give a 45° angle. Just experiment with new angle.

yay, you got her ^^ such a well executed release with attention grabbing details from head to toe. i’m kind of sad i don’t have the rest of the gang after seeing how good haruhi turned out, but there are some other serious contenders on my list of potential buys ^^;
i wish mf would put out more scaled releases! figma are great, but with the potential for releases like this it feels like a waste for them to not to give the scaled figures more love

Personally, I prefer the Yuki of this line, but the Haruhi figure is still fucking well made.

Congrats on deciding to get her, you made a good choice and judging by how much you praised the figure you must be very happy :D
I’ve seen so many reviews that I’m not gonna go into detail, she is a masterpiece and her paint,sculpt,Gitah^^, everything is great,the best Haruhi to get to date^^

Nice shooting ! My boyfriend have Haruhi, and I have Mikuru and Yuki. The set is amazing, but I prefer Mikuru that she is more cute ^^

If they put this amount of detail into their figmas then maybe we might see something incredible in the future. In the meantime, I know what u mean. Still, I now find each MF figure is gem figure because the extra work they put in is worth the wait.

‘Tis a great looking figure. I’m one of the few who doesn’t have her in my figure inventory…but I’m starting to cave seeing all these reviews of her left right and centre. “orz
