An old single I managed to dig up a few days ago in my folders of Jpop archives. I recall listening to this single a few months back on the interwebs somewhere but never really took notice until now.
Thanks to this single and many others I featured from the past, she’s clearly another one of my favourite Jpop artist. ^^

With a voice so beautiful that strikes the heart of every listener, it’s clearly one of the artist that should be highly recognized. Not only that, she is one of a few Jpop artist who can actually sing in English and managed to pull it off. I still prefer her in Japanese but English is a nice change as I can understand the song rather than focusing on the melody and tunes.

HIKARI is the first ED single of Nabari no Ō, an old series aired mid-last year. I recall reading a bit about it but never really took noticed as I recall I was focusing on other ones which were more funny and less serious. After reading a few reviews and checking out some previews, I can say this series looks interesting and I will see if I can pick it up at the next funimation sale from rightstuf when the time comes.

The single is still available at cdjapan so don’t miss it. The B side track “Story” is also very nice as well. In addition, this track is available on her first debut album which is really beautiful to listen to.

Unfortunately there is no PV for this single but there is a CM instead. Really wish it was a PV. ><
But thankfully, she did sing this single live at Animelo 08 last year so enjoy. ^^
