It’s part of series where they are materializing popular girls from the past popular series. I reckon it’s a very neat idea beause many great characters deserved to be in PVC form so collectors can have a chance to own some of the great characters ever made.
How Jun, got into that lineup is a question I don’t know how to answer. lol

Sakaki FTW! Actually, Sakaki and Osaka are my favourite characters from Azumanga.

I will consider getting Osaka, but I will certainly not be getting Sakaki. Her face is kind of strange and ugly.

uguuu i can’t stop whining about shamal’s price on everyone’s blog :P ah well, it’s for an epic set i guess ^^;

i was also totally surprised by the azumanga figures. i actually never watched the anime either… but have read the manga many many times over. one of the first (maybe the first?) 4-koma i read and just so many great moments ^^

The only thing I like there is the puppy Zafira. Sorry Shamal but I can’t buy you just for the puppy ^^;

On the other hand, it appears that the Azumanga girls are under this Legend Girls thing. What is this “Legend Girls” thing that Kotobukiya is going on recently (even a trap is in that “line” too)?
