Nyantype Vol. 3 is out and as already mentioned in my previous post, I picked it up alongside with Megami Magazine Vol. 114. Debating which one to review first, I decided to go ahead with Nyantype because I find this volume was somewhat disappointing compared to Megami and the previous 2 volumes of Nyantype.
Off course, as a regular collector of these types of magazines most of the stuff available are already old stuff to me but that doesn’t mean it’s old stuff for  you so lets jump in together and enjoy some new and old yummines. xD

This month volume (as predicted) features many articles from this years Fall lineup. A few featured includes, Seitokai no Ichizon (as series focused with many parodies from what I heard), Kampfer, Shin Koihime Musou, Seiken no Blacksmith, Queen`s Blade: Gyokuza o Tsugu Mono and many more.

The only series I’ve started so far is Kampfer and I’m really enjoying it. While the storyline is solid, I literally can’t take it seriously. Not only it’s funny, I reckon it’s a complete joke because I find the characters know we are watching from the other side. I guess what gave me this idea was when they mention the seiyuu names of each other during the show. LOL

The extra content from this volume is a small (almost A4 size) Nanoha Illustration collection book featuring artworks from posters, featured article illustrations and other forms of medium from the past 2 Nyantype volumes. The disappointing thing is, I already have all the illustrations I wanted in a variety of medium so this book is nothing surprising to me.

Overall, an above average volume compared to the 2 previous Nyantype volumes. The Nanoha illustration book was a nice extra goody but as I already mentioned earlier in having all of the illustrations in different mediums, it’s really nothing special to me.
Other than than,  a few stand out posters which still made this volume worthy to collect are Holo, Mikuru, the gang from Kanamemo, Haruka and Mikoto and her sister having ice-cream by the pool. If the illustrators keeps this up in driving the sexy appeal out of Mikoto then maybe I might like her after all. lol
