Just a heads up for the seiyuu lovers out there, the annual seiyuu awards for 2010 has just begun. Kudos goes to Zen for providing this nice little update. Good job. :)
Basically the award is about honoring voice actors and actresses for their achievements in voice acting, performances and other creative works by the fans themselves.

So this is how the voting will take place as taken from the site

Votes from overseas fans only shall be counted. Voting will take place at the official website. Fans will vote for one voice actor (regardless of gender). The results of the vote shall determine the first assessment. A second assessment shall be held by the Seiyu Awards Selection Committee.

The awards ceremony will take place at the Tokyo Anime Center in the Akihabara otaku shopping district on March 6. I wish I could be there to see the award ceremony. :(

My instant choice was Rie Kugimiya as Nagi Sanzenin from Hayate no Gotoku series. It was a no brainier because her performance as Nagi-chan was just superb. Being the voice actresses of that uptight, greedy, emotionally and sometimes shy little girl has made me love her to bits. Even her role as playing Mika Kujiin from Kanamemo made me think of Nagi-chan because the characteristics was so similar. :)

So don’t forget to cast your vote before it’s too late.
