A few weeks back when I found out Mami Kawada was gonna do the OP of the new Shakugan no Shana S (OVA), I could not help but give out a little “fanboy” moment. As one of the main artists (and also one of my favourite) used in the OP and ED of the Shana series, you can just can feel that beat and energy coming out from each track.

I still find each track is best suited for the series so that is why her latest single is featured this week.

Found out the single was out 2 weeks back when I was still in Singapore. I didn’t realise it till I got home since when I’m on holidays, I’m out of the ‘zone’ when it comes to events and updates on the interwebs.

Overall, the reason why she’s one of my favourite artist is because of songs like this. Great voice, great rhythm, it’s pop-rock and above all, it’s a Shana OP and I can’t think of what’s not to love about it. :D

The single is still available at cdjapan, both Limited and Regular edition. As you know, the Limited edition includes the DVD of her PV so don’t hesitate to grab your copy while it’s still available. It’s a First Press edition as well. ^^
Really looking forward to her full ED single. Can’t wait till it’s out.
