For the past few days, a range of Miku and Vocaloid items has been popping up everywhere. Whether your a Miku and a Vocaloid lover or not, it’s hard look away without wanting to find just a bit more info about them. Sometimes, curiosity gets the better of us and maybe the price itself is enough to warranty a buy. At times, to understand an item, you need to buy it. :P

1/8 Miku Hatsune VN02 mix PVC by Max Factory

Do you remember the last time Max Factory announced their last scaled figure? Clearly I don’t and considering they roll out new figmas ever month, it’s hard to keep track anymore but when people say Max Factory lost their touch in scale figures, I know they are wrong and this proves it.
I’m sure most of you remember this figure from the last Wonfes. It was one of the most talked about figures and now it has been announced, ready for preorder. Looking at the images, there is nothing more to say than a piece of elegant beauty. The scuplt, the details and the pose is just perfect and it’s just WOW blowing in nearly anyone eyes. I say ‘nearly’ because that’s not the case for me despite being a Miku fanboy myself. While I still stay true to what I said from the above, this is the Miku I don’t know and the green colour is turning me off. In addition, the price tag of 12,190yen doesn’t look ‘wallet friendly’ as well for a 1/8 scale but I know the details justify that price.

Miku t-shirts are a MUST HAVE for all miku fanboys and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed in whichever one you get. The 2 which caught my eyes is the one mentioned above and below. If you asked me which one I like, honestly I can’t decided but since I’m not a money making machine and if I was to get one, I would choose the Hatsune Miku Orchestra HMO `RBMM` because of it’s design.

Nendoroid Plus: Vocaloid Pull-back Cars

Last by not least, these little Vocaloid Pull-back Cars by Freeing. As a set of 4, retailing at 1,410yen each, they go well in any collection and for anyone who wants a bit fun with Miku and the gang. Pull-back Cars brings back a lot of memories of my childhood. I recall having a few from the Happy Meal Days back in NZ and they were very fun.
Since I use to get them free, justifying a price to get one doesn’t seem all that worth it. Even though it’s cheap, I doubt I will have the same fun I will have now than before.

Place your preorders in now if Pull-back Cars are what your after. There is a Miku, Rin, Ren and Luka to choose from but you can never be totally satisfied without the whole set. ;)
