Music Monday ~ Sayuri Sugawara – Kimi ga Irukara

The wait is almost over for the Japanese for the long awaiting Final Fantasy XIII game. With 3 more days to go and 2 more restless nights ahead, I know many can’t wait to finally get their hands on it and spend hours and maybe days playing it. While the wait if almost over for them, the wait continues on for the US and European as we don’t get it until March 9th, 2010. Off course, if your importing it, then this date doesn’t apply to you. xD
Featuring this week music moment is the lovely Sayuri Sugawara with her brand new hit, Kimi ga Irukara which is also the official theme song for FFXIII.
At first glance, the song didn’t really tickle my fancy. Indeed it was a good single and maybe the perfect single for the upcoming Final Fantasy game but I thought something was lacking but I didn’t know what.
Overtime when the single was played on all the new FFXIII trailers, I started getting attached to it. Seeing the emotions and the drama unfolding between the characters through the little segments from the trailer made me realised this was going to be a dramatic and emotional game as well and if you add a theme song to suit these moments, it makes you feel closer with the characters and it makes me feel it’s more than just a game. ^^
The Regular and Limited edition is still available at cdjapan. Don’t miss your copy today. The Limited edition comes with a bonus DVD featuring PR footage for FFXIII and a emblem of l’Cie clear sticker. It’s a must get for all Final Fantasy fans.

AAHHH! T^T to everyone who can play FFXIII. I have got no console to play it, unless they decided to release a wii version.

Sadly the english version won’t have this theme but a stupid song that i hate :/
I love Sayuri’s one so i’m sad :’(
Won’t stop me playing the game but it’s the first time the theme song is changed for the us release …. Usually the song was just translated and sing in english … I guess Sayuri can’t sing english at all ? … They should have keep Hikki for the song :/

okay… first impression… SAYURI SUGAWARA ZOMG!!! i am actually a big fan of sayuri sugawara due to her song kimi ni okuru uta… i am the type tat dont take track of singers i like… and didnt noe she have new songs >.>
and yeh… as for FF… unfortunately i just dont play final fantasy… itz not like i dont like it… i just dont >.<
but yeh.. i really like sayuri's voice =p

Wow… Sayuri Sugawara…. new song… yeh… i am actually big fan of her due to her song Kimi ni Okuru Uta… but i am lazy to track of singer’s new releases =/
for me… i have never really played any FF games… not like i dont like it.. just tat… i just dont want to play them so yeh… =.=

BTW, are u getting FFCC: Crystal Chronicles on the Wii. It’s soon to be out in the US and since SG stock R1 games, ur stores should have it soon. Unfortunately R4 will be out in Feb which sux ass. When it comes to games, R4 is always worst off. ><

hahahahaha. I’m annoyed as well but I get the feeling I will like Echo eventually while I play the game. It’s a habit of mind to like theme songs in a game I enjoy. lol
I wish Square will just release an international version and give u the option in having the Japanese or English theme song. It just makes sense in catering more of the fanbase. -_-

I found a live version instead to replace it. I’m tired of these copyright claims. Youtube is meant to be sharing videos and honestly, it’s a good tool to promote video content to the world where ppl will likely buy ur future albums and singles.

lol.. well i definately like the series… just tat i am not a fan of RPG games… so i never started any… and yeh… i totally enjoyed advent child XD i love kingdom hearts as well… and as ps3.. i think i can buy one =D but na… they are going into figurines X_X
