Awesome! I love this figure too. I was browsing through stores yesterday and all of them were carrying this for a rather hefty price. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to get this though considering a black blade version is also available for preorder.

Make DSLR ur 2nd priority but really the choice is urs. Having ur own domain has it’s own advantages and off course, it’s cheaper than a DSLR. :)

HS EMS shipping is expensive no doubt but BRS alone would’ve cost me $100AUD. Since I used the points, I saved 100AUD so it’s a good deal overall.
To be a HS ad member u will need to have u own domain as the wordpress ones don’t allow ads. I’m not sure if this policy still remains or there are ways around it because it’s been more than a year now I moved away from the wordpress domains. As already mentioned you can choose funds via paypal instead of points but their paypal is not up yet.
Other than ads, having ur own domain gives ur more variety of the themes available and more customization = more control.

Many ppl have their own opinions in viewing if this is free or not. Off course having to pay for shipping doesn’t feel like it’s free but I reckon HS doing free shipping means, they are losing money. Since the shipping prices varies and they use the post to get the items to us, I don’t they have any deals with them.

If u missed ur chance, it’s gonna be a hard find on the online stores as she’s sold out everywhere unless u can find a decent price one on ebay.
The blade version is not bad as well but it’s all about preferences in the end.

I’m still waiting for my first amiami package actually. I chose registered SAL and it was shipping out a month ago and the updates on the EMS site stopped mid last month. Seriously I don’t have a clue where it is and if it was from HLJ, it would’ve arrived by now. T_T

Can’t beat a nearly free figure ^^. I’ve been meaning to give that Hobby Search ad program a try but I’m just not sure what payment amount is reasonable :-/

Getting a free BRS is pretty sweet. Although you still had to pay for shipping, at least it was less than 1/3 of the cost of the figure I assume.

anyway… got my WIM miku and BSR… somehow interesting… i think the custom went through the boxes… there is like a hole on the side (probably test for explosive substance) and the outer box seems to have been opened… i wonder what the custom will be like after seeing figurines XD but then they probably see it everyday… they be like… ‘MEH… another of those otaku nerds collector’

“You get what you pay for.” Here it doesn’t exactly apply, because it’s something with a cost, and Optic did not exactly get it for free, he had credit he could choose where to use, it’s not something that came from beforehands for free.

Things that you get for nothing are often worth just that.
Also, in some cases, when you don’t pay for something, it’s less likely you’ll read it, or watch it, etc.

Shit, I forgot the customs fee. I hope that ordering one magazine will bypass the customs… well, when I ordered nendoroids and such for cheap, I “only” paid $9 or so in customs, which beats when it is stopped by the customs and I pay over $22, and have to go over to their place and take the package…

Ordered the Loli in a Box Dengeki G’s :D Well, I put in the notes that I want it shipped SAL, which they should begin using by the end of the month. I think they fixed both the outrageous EMS charges ($20-30 more than what the same would cost EMS at HLJ), and are getting SAL, because AmiAmi English is kicking their ass.
