Happy Australia Day 2010

I would like to wish all Australians a Happy Australia Day. This is a day where we get to celebrate the joy and beauty of being an Australian and why ‘we call Australia home’. Whether your having a BBQ with mates, spending it at the beach, sleeping in (since it’s a public holiday) or watching anime and playing games or anything else other than work, I hope you had a good one.
As for me, I slept almost half the day and watched some tennis from the Australian Open.
Basically it was too hot for me to be proactive today. >_>

Happy Australia Day as well.
Though we are in the US, my son saw that on his calendar and thought he had the day off of school. I had to explain to him that he had to live in Australia to have the day off. Poor kid – he was bummed.

Haaaaa when i read the weather is hot at your home…. it gives me a strong will to go on vacation :P

Happy Australia to you. I’m also watching Australian Open. I was really hoping for another Nadal vs. Federer since I really like both of them, but unfortunately Nadal is out… :(

LOL. Awwwwwwwwwwwww. I feel sad for ur son. Most families head to the city that day and enjoy the celebrations with festivities, food and fireworks later in the night. It’s always a fun filled event. ^^

If u ever get a chance, head to the beach. There are some nice beaches here u will never find in the world. Best to come down during spring where it’s not too cold and not too hot.

Nadal vs Murray was a intense match and it looked like a 5 set match from the way they were playing but I reckon it’s ever players shame to finish a match by retiring. :(
