It’s already pass 12 so I would love to wish all of my readers a very merry ‘cherry’ Christmas. ^_^

Celebrating in style, I present the adorable christmasy Botan. You can so tell he’s enjoying the Christmas spirit. xD

I hope this Christmas will be the best Christmas you will remember and even if you don’t celebrate it, it’s still not an excuse to not eat eat eat. :)

Yesterday, 27th November was Yui Hirasawa birthday so I would like to dedicate this post in wishing her a very Happy Birthday.
As my favourite character from the series, it’s not a need, it’s a MUST!!! xD

While there is no cake from me (currently very poor -_-), here’s  a few of my favourite images of her and the group to commemorate the day.

And on a side note to finish it off, getting the opportunity to see Aki Toyosaki, the seiyuu of Yui Hirasawa doing a live dubbing at AFA09 was a rare and exciting experience because I will doubt I will get this chance ever again. :D

Just a heads up for the seiyuu lovers out there, the annual seiyuu awards for 2010 has just begun. Kudos goes to Zen for providing this nice little update. Good job. :)
Basically the award is about honoring voice actors and actresses for their achievements in voice acting, performances and other creative works by the fans themselves.

So this is how the voting will take place as taken from the site

Votes from overseas fans only shall be counted. Voting will take place at the official website. Fans will vote for one voice actor (regardless of gender). The results of the vote shall determine the first assessment. A second assessment shall be held by the Seiyu Awards Selection Committee.

The awards ceremony will take place at the Tokyo Anime Center in the Akihabara otaku shopping district on March 6. I wish I could be there to see the award ceremony. :(

So who did I place my vote for?

My instant choice was Rie Kugimiya as Nagi Sanzenin from Hayate no Gotoku series. It was a no brainier because her performance as Nagi-chan was just superb. Being the voice actresses of that uptight, greedy, emotionally and sometimes shy little girl has made me love her to bits. Even her role as playing Mika Kujiin from Kanamemo made me think of Nagi-chan because the characteristics was so similar. :)

So don’t forget to cast your vote before it’s too late.

So how did I spend my day? Well, I had to work today and I spent my ‘busy’ hours talking to Blowfish and Zenical via MSN. In addition, I did some blog tweaking (as you may have noticed) and blog surfing and I got overtime pay for it. xD
Definitely was a ‘busy’ day. LOL

So how did you spend your day?

Slightly late but still on time in JST, I would like to extend my happiness and wish Yui Horie a Happy Birthday. She turns 33 today but in many many many peoples eyes, she will always be forever ( I prefer sweet)  17. xD

I was first introduced to her by my good friend zenical. At first I took interest in her singing, dancing and seiyuu craze but now I’m a hardcore fan. LOL
Well, I’m not too hardcore but she definitely one of my favourite Jpop singers of all time. ^^

One of things I found out is HER FACE DOES NOT CHANGE!!!! xD

So thanks Zen, thanks for sharing the poison, I mean luve. xD

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOCCHAN!!!

Many of you should know by now, I’ve started tweeting again. *Tweet, Tweet* :P

After reading about the new free social networking and micro-blogging service late last year, I’ve decided to sign up and give this service a go.
In a month or 2 when I was still getting the hand of it considering I wasn’t actively tweeting as much as I want to, I ran into a problem with my account where it didn’t accept my password repeatedly. In this case, I had to reset my password each time I was logged out and create a new one when I was logged back in.  I had to do this constantly each time I was logged out and when I was about to delete this account and just create a new one, I decided to leave it and not bother with it anymore.

After several months, I’ve decided to come back and give it another go (hence the title xD). I reset my password once more and so far so good. ^^

Special thanks to Zenical for giving me the motivation to come back. I guess spying on her tweets via her blog gave myself some motivation as well. lol

In conclusion, I’m back, tweeting again. ^^
